Northshore Woods

Northshore Woods is a 102-acre hillside community in Bigfork, Montana, a stunningly gorgeous town located on a sheltered bay where the Swan River meets Flathead Lake. The master planned community has been designed to capture the quiet found in this hidden valley, yet the property is less than a 15-minute walk to the lake shore and the lake’s largest marina. Architectural design guidelines for all homes ensure that view corridors are preserved for each of the 100+ building lots, which will average one-acre in size.

With a shoreline of over 187 miles, Flathead Lake is the largest freshwater lake in the United States west of the Mississippi River. The pristine waters are among the clearest and cleanest in the world. Bordered on its eastern shore by the Mission Mountains and on the west by the Salish Mountains, Flathead Lake is perfect for open water swimming and a variety of in-water activities. The lake also has a dozen species of fish swimming in its crystal-clear waters.

Why Big Fork?

Known as the “Village by the Bay,” Bigfork offers residents unparalleled views of Flathead Lake. The Bigfork harbor and marina are the largest on the lake, providing residents with unparalleled access to the pristine waters and activities available on the lake. The city itself is built on a western art theme, so the population swells with visitors in the summer who come to enjoy its art galleries, live theater, sidewalk cafes, and restaurants along the lakeshore.

Not only does Bigfork experience a steady stream of visitors, the city’s population continues to grow at a rate of over 20% each year. It’s easy to see why. Besides being home to a plethora of outdoor activities, including fishing, hiking, biking, and kayaking, Bigfork, which is a short 25 minutes from Kalispell, is home to Eagle Bend Golf Club, a 27-hole championship course that is the only course in Montana to be rated #1 for six consecutive years by Golf Digest.
